DYLAN'S PENCIL
Aged with fire, this bolero is a low crowned version of the Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue hat (sans flowers). The hat band is made with a simple aged rope. Sand colored felt with a a pencil curled brim edge. This hat is similar to Low Thunder but Dylan’s Pencil has a more tapered crown (slanted crown sides) and a more fire aged finish.
Each one is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert one hat at a time. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).
Color: Burnt Sand
Crown height: Low, 4 3/8” in front
Brim: 3 3/8” Flat with a pencil curled edge
Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.
Sweatband: Premium black goat/sheep leather
Size: All sizes ship in 3-4 weeks
Hatband: Aged rope
