Ready for the sun, rain and even the wind. This style was designed for use outdoors.

Each one is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert one hat at a time. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).

Color: Gray

Crown: : Low, flowing asymmetrical crown, Ventilation holes on the side are optional. Just let us know.

Brim: 3 3/8” Sturdy, upward on the sides.

Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.

Sweatband: Premium black goat leather

Hat band: 1/8” black leather lace that is wrapped around and then drop down through the hat to create a chin strap (stampede string). When not in use, the chin strap can be placed on top of the back of the hat.
