An open crown hat with casual asymmetrical indentions. This is the style of hat I started making hats to create. It’s a refined version of the gray hat I call Civilization.

Each hat is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying. No two will be identical! Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).

Brim: 3 1/2” Flat with subtle natural wave, slightly up near the edges

Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.

Sweatband: Premium black goat leather

Hat band: Only stitching (request a simple thin leather hat band [same price])
